3. Contest Prize

The Sponsor is pleased to give away three (3) home heating delivery prizes during the Contest Period; one per each of the following regions: Atlantic, Ontario and Quebec. A random draw will occur after February 28, 2021 as outlined in Section 5 of these Rules.

For existing customers, each prize consists of the value of the delivery of heating oil or propane received from the Sponsor at the personal residence that the winner occupied at the time of his or her participation in the Contest during the applicable contest month. Approximate retail value varies depending on the quantity of heating oil or propane ordered during the applicable month. In the case where the winner of a prize would be a non-customer of Parkland, the contest organizers will open an account for him or her and credit to his or her account the Maximum Prize value (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Prize", or the "Prizes"). The maximum value of the Prize is $2,500 (CAD), in the form of a credit to a residential home heating account of the participating customer (or non-customer) ( the "Maximum Prize Value").

The following restrictions apply to the aforementioned Prizes:

1. The Prize is valid only for deliveries of heating oil or propane made to the personal residence of the winner at the time of the draw (or to be made for winners who are not customers of the Sponsor at the time of their participation in the Contest), which must be located in one of the regions served by the Sponsor (Atlantic, Quebec or Ontario), these areas are subject to change without notice, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

2. In order to be eligible to obtain home heating delivery, the winner's equipment must comply with the requirements of the contest organizer and any applicable regulations where his or her residence is located. If the winner does not own the required equipment or if the equipment is not compliant with applicable regulations, the purchase or lease of equipment or any required maintenance shall be at the sole expense of the winner.

3. The prize to be awarded in this Contest will not be awarded if the winner ceases to be the owner, tenant or occupant of the residence that he or she occupied at the time of the draw or ceases to be responsible for the home heating costs of that residence before the Prize is awarded by the Sponsor.

4. Home heating prizes will be distributed as follows amongst the following Sponsor's brands and geographies:

Ultramar Ontario = one (1) prize

Ultramar Québec = one (1) prize

Ultramar Atlantic = one (1) prize

The Prize must be accepted as awarded, is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or monetary difference between actual Prize value and the stated approximate Prize value, if any. The Prize may only be redeemed at participating Parkland Corporation branches and service areas. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute for the Prize or any component thereof a Prize of equal or greater value, and/or to terminate or withdraw this Contest at any time without prior notice and without compensation. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries during the Contest Period in each specific region.

4. Eligibility

To be eligible entries must be received on or before February 28, 2021 before midnight AST. The Contest is open to Canadian residents who reside in an Ultramar service area in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario or in the Atlantic provinces of Canada (PEI, NB, NS, NFLD) who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the Province or Territory where they reside. This Contest is not open to: (i) directors, officers, employees, retirees, representatives, agents and contractors of: (a) The Sponsor and/or its related or affiliated companies (collectively, the "Sponsor and Affiliates"); or (b) any distributor, operator, dealer or retailer of the Sponsor and Affiliates (each of the foregoing being a "Non-arm's Length Party"), (ii) the immediate families of a Non-arm's Length Party; and/or (iii) persons who are domiciled with a Non-arm's Length Party. If a Selected Entrant cannot be reached within ten (10) calendar days following the initial attempt of contact, or if the Selected Entrant does not meet all the Rules, the Selected Entrant will be disqualified, his/her right to the Prize will be forfeited and the Selected Entrant will have no further recourse towards the Sponsor or another party involved in the Contest.
